His Name has power. Months ago, I had questions and worries, and I needed to talk to my boss. So I decided to talk to her when my day at work was very relaxed. When we finished our conversation, I realized that she and her assistant manager were opening and closing drawers and so forth.
I asked what happened, and she told me she was searching for some documents. They couldn’t find them, and someone at the main office needed the information that those documents contained. I asked if she searched in a certain place, and she said that she had searched the whole office.
Then I said, “You’re doing it wrong. Did you search in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ?” She turned around to look at me, as she was kind of surprised. She stopped her searching and she said, “Ok, in God’s Name.” I said, “God’s Name is the Lord Jesus Christ,” and she said, “Yes, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Incredibly, when she finished pronouncing that precious Name, she found a folder and SURPRISE, there were her documents! We all remained silent for a while and we smiled each other. I left her office and I was amazed. I testified to my coworkers about what happened. We really enjoyed the moment.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. I thought on "Whatsoever ye shall ask in my Name, that I will do."Hallelujah!
How privileged we are.
