Smart Working

The Coronavirus has been a plague to the world, but the Bride has been rejoicing around the world because of the opportunity to spend more time with family, more time in study of the Word, and more time in prayer.

This Italian brother received an unexpected blessing when the virus struck Italy.

Dear brothers and sisters,

I would like to share with you a testimony and I hope it can encourage someone. Ever since I accepted Christ and His Message in my life, I have suffered persecution, like derision and being outcast. Two years ago I won an internal competition in the company I work for to go from worker to office worker. I believed that the people in the office would be more civilized, more peaceful with cleaner language, but after a short time I realized that with these colleagues it was the same, if not worse. Ever since they learned that I am a Christian, that I don't smoke, that I don't drink, that I don't go to their parties, problems started in the office.

Mistreatment after mistreatment, sometimes real malice and lies in the working sphere, in particular by a colleague. I had dark and depressed times. I returned home crying and nervous. The only thing that gave me relief was listening to the prophet, talking to the Lord, and knowing that at home I have someone who loves me.

I began desperately to beg the Lord Jesus, asking Him to help me and do me justice. I also prayed in the office, writing my prayer as if they were emails for my BOSS, the real BOSS, the KING of kings. I know today that HE has received and read all my letters. Praise be to God!

About September 2019, I found out that the company made it available for employees to be able to work from home “smartworking” once a week. I thought wow, I could ask that and stay at least one day away from these people, quiet without the pressure of the enemy. So I talked to my manager who said, “We'll see later.”

One day I was listening the tape “Why Cry, Speak!” (63-0714M), and I was struck by these words of Brother Branham:

Faith is a long-range vision. It don’t lower its sights. It holds to the target. Amen! Any good shooter knows that. See? That, it’s long range. It’s a—it’s a telescope. It’s a binocular, that you don’t look around here. You don’t use binoculars to look to see what time it is; see, you don’t use that. But you use binoculars to look a way off. And faith does that. Faith picks up God’s binoculars, both of them, both sides, the New and Old Testament, and sees every promise that He made. And faith sees it out yonder, and faith chooses that regardless of what the present tense says here. He looks at the end. He don’t drop his sights down to look this a way. He looks out yonder. He keeps the crosshair dead center on the Word. That’s what faith does. That’s the faith that’s in a man that does those things.

63-0714M Why Cry, Speak!

This gave me so much comfort, and it was around that time that Coronavirus came and the company made the decision to make everyone stay at home and to start 100% smartworking for the employees. Today smartworking has become usual and definitive. God has given me so many blessings in this time like never before, both spiritual and material. As in the days of Gideon, dew fell everywhere except on that fleece of wool. Plagues and death are everywhere, except on HIS little Bride. He was so good with my family. I love HIM with all my heart. He gave me more than I asked for, not just one, but five days of smartworking. And when Satan thought he had taken the church away from me, He provided a “smartchurch” too, a Home TAPE Church! Truly He takes care of us, we just have to hold those binoculars and look beyond what surrounds us. He answers our prayer in His special way and in his due time.

God bless you.
