What is the fruit of the Spirit? The manifestation of the promised Word.

So there is the genuine evidence of the Holy Ghost! He has never told me anything wrong yet. That, "It is the evidence of the Holy Ghost, is he who can believe the Word."

And all of we parents know what a feeling that is. When your children, your very heart, begins to mingle with the world, get out among the unbelievers. I don't suppose Billy is present at the time; I think he's out maybe talking to Brother Wood. But in our city, we do not have a Christian school. And there's a bunch of worldly children, girls and boys too. And when I thought of sending my boy to that school, knowing that every thing that I drilled into him, unless he becomes really converted, really come to Christ, that is, all of his nature would be changed, he'd be swept out from under my hands, as soon as he got with this worldly bunch.

So when a Spirit-born, Spirit-filled man in faith takes that Word into his heart and places it upon his lips, why that is the same as Deity speaking. Every mountain has to go. Satan cannot stand before that man.

But while they were thinking on Him, He appeared to them, and that's the way He usually comes to us. When you usually find your greatest blessing, you housewives? When the children's all gone to school, and you're out by yourself washing the dishes or something, when you're running the sweeper on the floor or something. When do you men? When you're setting eating your lunch, maybe by yourself, and reading the Bible on the side, somewhere where you're on your road going home in the car, and you're meditating on... If we would let the thoughts of our heart, and the meditations of our mind be upon Him, He would appear often to us. But the trouble, we're thinking about where we're going to make the next dollar, and what we're going to do here, and how this is going to be. Jesus said, "All these things will be taken care of, but seek ye first the Kingdom of God."

But the Church has received a Heavenly Sign: an Astronaut! Amen! Jesus Christ, in the form of a Pillar of Fire; that He was in the Old Testament, that He was then He met Saul on the road down there to Damascus, the same Jesus here today! And what does It do? Does It bring fear? It brings love that's uniting one another. Amen! A feeling for one another. It brings the Love of God, oh, uniting us and brings us (the Body of Christ) into unity as a Bride. That's what it's doing now, this great union that God...

Now, everybody wants to be loved. I tell you the truth. I do. I want God to love me, and I want the people to love me. That's exactly the truth. And if God loves me, then the people will love me. And if I love His people, then He will love me for doing it.

God would rather I'd love you, than love Him. Did you know that? I'd rather you love my boy back there, no matter what you say about me. I want you to love my children. And any father would think that. So Father God thinks the same thing for He said, "Insomuch as you have done unto the least of these, My little ones, you have did it unto Me." So if you want to love God, just start loving all of His children. And God will reward you. If you'll just love His children that shows the love of God is in you.

Tomorrow may be too late. God might have chose you to Eternal Life. But if you don't make up your mind and accept it, somebody else will take your place.

You always get in trouble if you go do something without asking God. That's true.

God's purpose can never be defeated. There is nothing can defeat it. So how happy ought we to be today, resting upon that beautiful revelation of the Word of the living God, that there is neither things present nor things that can come; there's no sickness, no sorrow, no death, no perils, nor nothing can separate us from the purpose of the living God. What God has imagined in His mind, what God has purposed in His heart to bring to pass, there is no demon, there's no power, there is nothing can ever separate God's great immortal inter—eternal plan. It must be as God has said.

I would rather have a church that knows nothing about any spiritual gift, and just be so in love with each other and with Christ, I’d rather have that than every spiritual gift operating in the church. Now that sounds hard in a Pentecostal group, but I would rather have it. Where there is gifts they’ll fail. Where there is gifts they they’ll bring confusion. Where there is gifts, they can be questioned, but where there is love, it is perfect, that right. And if you had perfect love, you’d have perfect gifts, that’s right. So work first with love, that brings fellowship and fellowship brings gifts.

When you once see the Message of the hour, there's nothing else you can see but That. That's all. Everything else is gone, the rest of it's just a filler, see, see, when you once see the Message!

But watch when, the spiritual Bride, when She begins to have a revival, when She begins to come back and line Herself up with the Word of God. Watch then again, you see, how that the Scriptures, at that time, There'll be a Message sweep out to catch that Bride, catch that Woman, Elect.

I know, Lord, I've listened to things I ought not have listen. The times I've been setting there reading magazines and things, when I ought to have been reading Your Word, the time I was downtown shopping, and gadding around, when I could've been spending in prayer. God, forgive me; I now raise my hand and say, "Be merciful to me. God, give me something."

God does His Own choosing, by predestination, chose the prophets for every age. Notice it. He fixes the nature of that prophet to fit that age. (See?) He fits his style, whatever he does. He fits him whether he's educated or not educated. He fits the gifts, the manner that he'll preach in, the gifts he'll have. And the Message for that certain age, God's predestinated that certain thing to happen and there's not another thing can take its place.

I looked around and I thought, "Well, I don't get it." I said, "Oh, where is Jesus? I want to see Him so bad." They said, "Now, He's just a little higher, right up that way." Said, "Someday He will come to you." You see? Said, "You were sent for a leader. And God will come, and when He does, He'll judge you according to what you taught them, first; whether they go in or not. We'll go in according to your teaching." I said, "Oh, I'm so glad. Did Paul, does he have to stand like this? Does Peter have to stand like this?" "Yes." I said, "Then I've preached every word that they preached. I never divvied from it one side to the other. Where they baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, I did too. Where they taught the baptism of the Holy Ghost, I did too. Whatever they taught, I did too." And them people screamed and said, "We know that, and we know we're going with you someday back to earth." Said, "Jesus will come, and you'll be judged according to the Word that you preached us.
