A Faithful Servant Is Called Home

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved brother, Eric Samu-Mukoko has gone to be with the Lord. Although his passing was unexpected, we take great comfort in knowing that our brother was truly a faithful servant of God.

Brother Eric first came into contact with the Message in 1982, in his native country of Democratic Republic Of Congo. One of his friends had invited him to attend a local service and this experience had a lasting effect on him. It did not take long until Brother Eric was fully convinced that God had sent a Prophet to lead His children back to the Restored Word. Two years later, with this Truth burning in his heart, he felt called by God to the ministry at the young age of 20 years old. In 1986, Brother Eric made the decision to leave his home country and travel as a student to Ivory Coast. Little did he know how the Lord would use him to distribute the Message to the children of God in this country.

Brother Eric became the Pastor of the Living Word Church in Abidjan in 1989 and started organizing a small library for his congregation. In 1993, Brother Joseph asked Brother Eric if he would help Voice Of God Recordings distribute the Message of Bro. Branham in Ivory Coast. From that Time, for the next 27 years, Brother Eric diligently served the Bride of Christ. This Message was everything to Brother Eric. He believed the Message, preached the Message, lived the Message, and he is now reaping the rewards of this Message. Truly, our hearts may be heavy, but we are thankful that God’s loyal servant has finished his journey and has received his reward.

Please be in prayer for the family of Brother Eric. He was 53 years old and his loss will be difficult for his Wife, Sister Isabelle and his children, Joseph, Grace, Benedict Marrion and Ella Keren.
