Container For Zimbabwe

The long trip to Harare, Zimbabwe has come to an end for a very special 40 ft. shipping container. After weeks of preparation, sorting, organizing and packing here in Jeffersonville, the container that left the shipping docks on December 3, 2014, is ready for distribution in Southern Africa.

Here is the general overview of the route taken to Zimbabwe (12 weeks time):

  • Jeffersonville, IN to Norfolk, VA (663 miles) inland by truck
  • Norfolk, VA to Beira, Mozambique (10,579 nautical miles) by ship
  • Beira, Mozambique to Harare Zimbabwe (347 miles) inland by truck

We received this report from the VGR office in Zimbabwe telling just what this arrival of material means to them and the people there.

The Zimbabwe bound container finally arrived!! After a rigorous paperwork process that started early last week culminating to a quizzical physical examination by customs officials, our container finally crossed the border from Mozambique into the country of Zimbabwe! The truck bearing the life giving cargo headed for the VGR office in Harare early Sunday morning where an anticipating group was waiting! (The ox had truly fallen into the ditch on the Sabbath Day!)

The truck backed into the premises all the way through to the warehouse entrance. We all stood around the back of the truck, joined hands and sang the VGR theme song, “We'll Work Till Jesus comes.” After this we all bowed our heads and gave thanks to our beloved Heavenly Father for providing the much-needed Spiritual Food In Due Season. It was amazing that even the truck driver joined hands with us, followed through singing and even prayed with us in thanksgiving! It was so wonderful.

At about 9am we broke the seal on the container and began offloading the HUGE 40-foot container, box by box. We formed a jovial human conveyor belt from the inside of the container all the way inside the warehouse where each pallet was orderly stacked & stored for special use in the very near future. Most of the parts on this "conveyor belt" were made in Zimbabwe, but the Lord timeously gave us a few Canadian hands to complete the belt and help with offloading!

The container was loaded with material bound for Zimbabwe and also material bound for Malawi. The Malawi consignment will be warehoused in Zimbabwe and forwarded to Malawi in due course. It is exciting to try and imagine how and where God will direct each book, and each cd along with the impact that each message will have on every life that it will come in contact with.

It's on tapes. It'll go worldwide on the tapes, where people in their houses. Them tapes will fall right into the hands of the predestinated of God. He can direct the Word. He'll direct everything just exactly to its course. That's the reason He sent me back to do this. "Store up the Food here."

62-0601 Taking Sides With Jesus

There was a true sense of joy and camaraderie as we unloaded Spoken word sermon books, mp3s, Cub Corner magazines, Catch The vision Magazines, YF shirts, VGR stationery, some tools, machines and furniture all for use in the lighthouses that the Lord has ordained to sustain The Voice of Elijah in our day.

So is it today, friends. So is it today, that the Bread of Life that the children eat on, follows the Message of God, to sustain them during the time of the drought. We notice here again, if the Word is in us and has come to us, as It did Elijah in that day, It'll do the same thing that he did, he would feed on the secret Things of God which is hid from the world. Oh! Again, it makes the Message and the messenger as one. The spiritual Food is ready, and It's in the season now. And each one of you can have this Food if you wish It, if you are willing to steal away from all of the unbelief of this hour, if you are ready to come into Christ, come into His promise.

65-0718E Spiritual Food In Due Season

Now that the food is here, for the believers in this country, it is time to tuck in, to feed, just like this little calf of the stall which was fed on stored up food! Nobody tells it better than God's prophet, here:

Springtime come out, the farmer that had plenty of food to feed his little calf, he turned him out in the corral, and when he did, he was all fat and round, you know. That spring wind blowing, he felt good; he just kicked his little heels up, and away he went. The man in the big, fine, ritzy, polished-up barn, throwed his little calf out. Poor little fellow, so weak, he couldn't hardly move. He staggered out, like that, over a fine concrete floor, peeped down through the crack, and watch that little calf, feeling good, kicking up his heels. He said, "Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, such fanaticism." My, what's the matter? He was hungry, he couldn't.

Brother, I tell you, we may be worshipping here in a cow barn, but, brother, we got some spiritual vitamins here. We've had something to eat. Makes... That's what makes you kick up the heels, and act the way It does, the Holy Spirit. Right. God promised It, and He gave It to us.
