What a year for themessage.com! If you have not seen our witnessing website, then we encourage you to take a look. This isn’t like branham.org, it’s completely dedicated to introducing the Message of the hour to the world, and it is designed as a tool that you can use as you spread the Gospel.
We launched the website in late 2013, in the Chichewa language. While we did not expect a large audience from Eastern Africa because of limited internet connection, we knew that this would provide some believers the opportunity to find and download the translated sermons on their mobile phones. Then we launched the English version a few weeks later.
In 2014, we went from English, to Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, and now, the latest language is Italian, and we are putting the finishing touches on the Romanian translation.
The nature of themessage.com is witnessing, so it doesn’t change often like our other websites. We hoped that we would get 50 or so people visiting every day. But the Lord had something else in mind. We now get about 500 people visiting every day, and about half of those are new visitors. These high numbers mean that people around the world are using themessage.com as they witness, and the people are listening!
Here are a few stats from YOUR witnessing website: themessage.com.
-
500 visits a day is more than double what we started 2014 with.
-
We received 127,320 visits and about 57,186 of those are new visitors. This is in stark contrast to branham.org, where about 85% of the people are returning visitors.
-
188 different countries visited the website in 2014.
-
Not only do we have tracts, but we also have license plates, window stickers, T-shirts, and even billboards getting the word out about the website.
-
English is the most popular version of the website, with Spanish second, and French third.
-
Almost 40% of the visitors from Mexico (Spanish) come from the west-Mexican province of Jalisco. Guadalajara is in that province. We also have an office in Guadalajara.
-
Over 40% of the visitors from Brazil (Portuguese) come from the State of Sao Paulo, which is where our office is located.
