I have been reading the Little Things testimonies for quite a while now and I used to chuckle just thinking about the testimonies. Last night when I got home from work, I was preparing my dinner and just after I had put my pan on the gas stove, the gas ran out before I could even cook anything. I was disappointed and I knew I didn’t have the money to buy gas till Friday. Where we stay there is no electricity and I couldn’t put the fire since it was cold and windy and very dark outside. I borrowed hot water and just had a cup of tea, and went to bed.
This morning when I was walking to the bus stop, I was just thinking on the testimonies. That’s when I remembered I didn’t have money to refill my tank. I just said, “Lord, I don’t have money to buy gas and I can't wait till Friday.”
When I got to work, there is a colleague who owed me some money she borrowed over two years ago. The moment she saw me, she just said, “My friend, thank you for your patience, here is your money.” Then my heart just leapt out for joy knowing the Lord cares for us. Just thinking about His love, I am lost for words. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Be blessed.
