Brothers Gerald and Matthew Buitenkamp (VGR European Office in Holland) had just returned home from YF banquets in Zambia and Nigeria when they received the call to head south, to Paris, France. They would attend service and then hand out a truckload of French material.
Brothers Timothy (eldest), Matthew (middle) and Benjamin (youngest) helped their dad, Brother Gerald, load up the VGR truck, and together, they made the eight-hour drive to Paris. The pictures say it all.
Here is Brother Benjamin’s report:
It was a quick decision, but our destination was set for Paris the following evening. We packed the truck with a variety of material and were on the road early the next morning. We didn’t mind a total of sixteen hours of driving at all, because it gave us plenty of time to listen to the Jubilee Tapes! After eight hours of driving, through Holland, Germany and Belgium, we arrived in Paris, France, where the local believers welcomed us with a warm “Que Dieu vous bénisse!” or “God bless you!” They were happy to help us unload the truckload of precious cargo and bring it to where we were going to display it all. It took about an hour and a half to set everything up on the tables, and make it ready for the believers to take home their Food. It’s so wonderful to see all the smiles of the people when they get their Message books and witnessing tools, and when the children receive their books, “Mother Opossum” and “Footsteps Of The Prophet”, which even the adults appeared to enjoy! Many were also interested in the new French witnessing CD “Be Certain Of God.” It encourages me to see how excited believers are when they have their arms full with this precious Message, spoken by our prophet, Brother Branham!
