HE HAS RISEN!
As Brother Branham said in an earlier sermon, put yourself in the shoes of one of the Bible characters. The disciples went from the lowest time in their lives to the greatest. We can only imagine, but the last three days probably seemed like an eternity. If you were Mary, the first one at the tomb, imagine the horror of finding the stone rolled away and the body of Jesus missing. Then, think about what would have gone through your mind when the Man you were speaking to was not the gardener, but the Risen Lord Jesus Christ!
Apply it to today. Life is rough. In fact, this is the most difficult time to live in all of history. The enemy is stronger than he has ever been. Our faith is tested every day. It’s so easy to fall into the laziness of Laodicea and lose our zeal for the Word. We pray and pray; somehow He seems silent. But we can take comfort that one day soon, the Lord Jesus will call our names and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. We will then know the joy that the disciples felt when they saw their Master risen from the dead. What a wonderful day that will be!
The Lord Jesus has been so gracious to us to allow the Voice of His servant to be recorded on tape, and now, 50 years later, we have the opportunity to listen to the prophet together. We at Voice Of God Recordings count it a great privilege to join you in listening to today’s message: “The Trial.”
Come expecting!
