The Little Things

Some of us commute long distances every day, and we can often get 30 minutes or more of time listening to the Message while going to and from work. What better thing could we be doing while driving through town?

This brother was trying to listen to the Jubilee sermon, but his heater fan was making too much noise to hear Brother Branham. He could have just shut the tape off, but instead, he decided he would rather bear the freezing temperatures than miss something the Lord had for him. Here is his testimony.

I have about a 20-minute drive each morning to get to work. I drive an older car that has many things starting to go wrong with it. The blower on the heater is one of those things that doesn't work very well. It makes a squealing sound that will make you cringe.

It was about 20 degrees as I climbed into the car this morning to go to work. As I started listening to todays Jubilee tape, "Perseverant" I turned on the heater. Right on cue, it started squealing. I turned it off and then on about 10 times, and every time it did the same thing.

At the beginning of the message, Brother Branham was quoting Jesus when he said, "If you ask the Father anything in My Name, it'll be granted." So I paused the tape and said a short prayer, asking the Lord to make the blower work quietly so I could listen in comfort as I drove. I turned on the blower and it made the same squealing sound. I tried it again, same results. So I said, "Lord I guess you want me to listen in the cold, so I will."

I turned on the tape again and Brother Branham said, "And now man who has had faith in God, has been very persistent in what they are trying to do." So I felt to try it one more time. I turned it on and this time it worked perfectly. The Lord answered my prayer and I want to give Him the glory.
