Wake up, get a shower, eat breakfast, say a word of prayer, head off to work. Come home, greet the family, eat supper, read the Bible or listen to a tape, go to bed. Days turn to weeks, weeks to months, and months to years. There is a time when we need to ask ourselves, “Am I drawing closer to the Lord Jesus, or am I letting life slip away?”

It could be as simple as setting your alarm clock 15 minutes earlier tomorrow to have a little more Quiet Time, or you might want to take 30 minutes during your lunch break to get on your knees and pray. Or, just take a few extra minutes with your family to read a chapter in the Bible before bed. The Lord is willing to take whatever time we are willing to give Him, so can’t we give just a little more? He is standing at the door. All we need to do is open it up.

This brother took a little extra time to hear the Jubilee sermon before church. As you will read, it not only paid off for him, but also for the entire congregation. The excitement spread to the next day, where he saw the benefits of taking a little extra time for the Lord.

I recently felt led to go through the Seals again with my Seals book and have been underlining quotes that really stood out to me and writing notes in the book margins. I have received such a blessing from doing this that I felt on my heart to purchase all the sermon books from 1964 in anticipation of the Jubilee tapes this year. I was so happy to get them in the mail the Tuesday...

Last night, we listened as a church to “God Is His Own Interpreter.” The atmosphere in our church was so charged before the tape began! I think this is because many of the people had heard the jubilee tape during the day. I went home after church and decided I would hear the tape again. I heard it again this morning before work, taking notes in my sermon book. I have heard this tape many times but never like I did this morning. I came to work feeling so peaceful and happy as if I didn’t have a care in the world (even though my wife and I are facing some real tests from the enemy at this time). Truly God is in His Voice! God bless you. I can’t wait to hear the two jubilee tapes for today! I feel like I’m getting ready to dine with the King!
