My trip from Goma to Bukavu
It was on Sunday evening, December 8th, 2013, after preaching in my local church in Goma, we were to travel all night to arrive at the Bukavu Port on Monday morning. The trip went well and calm, without waves or storm.
I brought with me tracts translated into French and Swahili. It was in the middle of the night that the Lord opened the door for us to distribute tracts to the passengers. While they seemed tired by the long trip that never seemed to end, to my great surprise, all the passengers, even the two captains of the boat, all stopped to come and get the tracts of the prophet Branham. We gave 150 copies of 3 tracts in French and Swahili, and also gave them 4 other titles of our French booklets.
After distributing these few booklets, the atmosphere completely change on the boat and all the passengers, instead of watching television, found something else to distract themselves: We say, to read the Word of God revealed by the prophet of God, William Branham. So, most of the passengers testified that if the trip went as smooth and good as that, it is because this pastor traveled with us with the Word of his prophet.
The night became short in the atmosphere of the people reading the Word of God. Very early in the morning, our boat arrived at the Bukavu port where, to my great surprise, there were a few pastors of the Message of the hour that knew about my schedule and knew that I was traveling with booklets. They came to meet with me and to see these titles of books, and to see if each one of them could have a few copies for their personal library before they wait for the distribution of these materials for the churches. It really was a glorious time. The trip was such a great success and a blessing for God’s people, and even those from outside.
So, after a brief stay of three days in Bukavu, and after shipping the materials for Uvira and Burundi, I had to go back as soon as possible to Goma to continue my work at the office, as I was already receiving many phone calls because many people needed me at the office.
May God richly bless you.
