Smiles

We hope these testimonies from believers around the world will put a smile on your face today.

The Smallest Things

Yes, He does care about the smallest of things. This summer I drove a group of young people from our church to Jeffersonville for the Still Waters Camp. Before leaving for camp, the devil was nagging my mind about how long my lawn was going to be when I got home from camp. I push mow almost a full acre and if the lawn gets long, it requires a lot of raking.

Well, before I left, I stood in my back yard and raised up my arms and asked the Lord to stop my lawn from growing while I was gone.

Needless to say, when I got home a week later, my prayer had not been answered the way I wanted, my lawn was nice and long! I spent a long time in the hot sun mowing and raking, and then my answer came. I'd made stops at Cracker Barrel, McDonalds, Burger King, Dairy Queen, etc, and HE knew what I needed when I got home: long hours in the hot sun, burning off all those calories! Praise the Lord, HE cares about our day-to-day health!

Oh, I--I--I really feel good tonight. Mowed grass all afternoon, so I really feel good, out in the hot sun.

Faith

Faith has got muscles, and hair on its chest. When it speaks, everything else shuts up. Don't go in, "Mr. Devil, you move out?"

"Get out of here! I'm a son of God, commissioned of God. Leave them alone!" That moves. You have no apology to the Devil, nothing to do with him. Not ashamed of the Word of God, not ashamed of your commission, not ashamed of who we are.

Prayer Cloth

I don’t understand why people are so happy. I don’t trust preachers any more. I am alienated. I don’t even know y’all but you sent me a prayer cloth. Please pray for me that I will “get it.”

(We then received another email from the brother that same evening)

Forget it.

I get it now

That was quick.

Thanks :-)

Now... If I could just be more stable.

Y’all are ok by me.

Good night.

Kawilla And Priscilla

I have four girls and we named our youngest, Priscilla. Her sisters love to place her at the computer and play Vision for Africa for her so she can hear Brother Joseph say "...Aquila and Priscilla."

We own a little stuffed Koala bear and coming across it, her sister was trying to force her (Priscilla) to hold it. I couldn't understand why this was so important, except she kept saying "Kawilla and Priscilla! Kawilla and Priscilla!"

Church

The Bible is the best road map I got when I lose my way. The compass to point me to the true north star. My GPS device when I can't find a certain place. My battery charger when I need a boost. My 911 when I have an emergency. My manual to fix a problem!

Church is where I take myself when I need service, whether its tears used to clean out the system, or it’s the transmission where the gears: Faith, Love, Peace, Joy, Patience, and Forgiveness needs repair. When my engine starts to sputter, gets cranky, and needs an attitude adjustment. Or my starter starts squealing, replacing negative complaints with positive complements! When the muffler starts to fall off because the junk of the world has rusted it through. Taking it off and starting with brand new one, bad habits thrown away.

Ready to start on the road again, serving the Lord, knowing I'll need more checkups all the time, but thank God for a place like church.

The gas to keep it running is the tapes played every day. Ah, now it’s really full, recharged and good to go!

A Perfect Fix

I had to apply online for a position in a Bank and I could not do it all these days and today when I am just left with one day for the last date of application, I tried to apply for almost 4 hours and it kept rejecting me, but then I stopped trying and prayed to God and asked Him to help me. I opened branham.org and started to read testimonials and then I opened my job website and everything went right and my application got accepted. How God does miracles when we believe.

Modern Medicine

There's only one thing about a bad cold, if you take medicine, you have it seven days. If you leave it alone, you have it one week. So, there, you can suit yourself.

A “Pillow” Cloth

My three-year-old Lily was very sick with the flu. So, we pinned a prayer cloth to her clothes. When I would change her clothes, she reminded me to get her "Pillow Cloth." A while later her brother got sick so we pinned the prayer cloth on him. Tonight I had him take it off. When Lily seen it she said something like, "Hey, that's my Pillow Cloth. You using it." I told her we needed to put it on her daddy because he was sick. For some reason I decided to put it on her and she said something like, "Let's put it on Daddy first." When I asked her why she liked to wear the “Pillow Cloth,” she said, "Cause it make people feel better."

A Godly Life

I'm so glad that a man can live so close to God, till the devil don't know what to do with him.

Correction

My grandson, Joshua, who was about 4 years old at the time, was bothering me a bit while I was trying to read my newspaper. I finally said, “Joshua, go tell your mother, she is calling you.” He said, “Ok grandpa,” and took off running toward his mom, who was at the other end of our mobile home, when suddenly he stopped just as he was about to enter the hallway. He turned around and looked at me with a bit of sternness on his face and said, “Grandpa, you’re lying, I'm going to tell Jesus on you.” Needless to say, I had to repent.

Out Of The Mouth Of Babes

One day I was driving my car with my son Mathew beside me, who was 7 or 8 years old, and suddenly he said, “Dad, the devil tell me that we are not in the right religion.” So I said, “What did you answer to him?” He said, “I answered him that there is only one religion with a genuine prophet confirm by a Pillar of Fire.”

I think it was settle for the devil...poor him.

Quebec, Canada

He dreamed that the devil was a little bitty old thing, run up to him. He said, "Boo!" And he jumped back, and the devil got bigger. "Boo!" And he jumped back, and the devil got bigger. Finally, the devil got as big as he was, was going to overcome him. He knowed he had to fight him with something, so he looked around. He couldn't find nothing to fight him with. He just picked up the Bible. And the devil said, "Boo!" He said, "Boo!" right back at him, and the devil got littler, and littler, and littler. And, finally, he beat him to death with the Word.

He Was Speaking To Her

I took my 5-year-old granddaughter to church with me. We always listen to a cd of Brother Branham. She sat quietly and listened. When church was over on the way home, I was telling her how God speaks to your heart if you listen for that still, small voice, and she said, “He’s not talking to me right now, He must be really tired, He talked a lot a while ago. He's probably taking a nap.” Even children know when God is speaking.

Kentucky English

My English was really poor and I don't understand all when somebody speak to me in English, but when it's Brother Branham who speak... then it's easy to understand.

For me, Brother Branham have the best English I ever heared.

Quebec, Canada

They said they had to take heed to Peter and James, as they... Peter and John, as they passed through the gate called Beautiful, seeing they were ignorant. They might have said, "Hit, hain't, tote, tarry, fetch, carry. I'll tell you about this." See? They might have had all kinds of grammar that they couldn't understand. They might not have known the difference, all the--the... all the mathematics of the Scripture. But they had to notice they had been with Jesus. They had displayed that Token, because the same Spirit that was upon Him, before His crucifixion, was upon them after the resurrection. Amen!

The Lord Takes Care Of His Own

The day after listening to “Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday Today and Forever,” I was studying in bed. I heard my stepfather-in-law knocking loudly at the window. He told my husband he saw a washing machine in the center of the road and realized that our washing machine wasn’t below the house where it had been for two years.

When my husband checked, it was ours. He put it upstairs (so no one could get to it again). I just had to thank God. I do not know what God did to make them (the thieves) to drop it in the road and not take it, but I am very thankful.
