Years ago, when I was around five years old, my parents took me and we attended several meetings of Brother Branham’s at the Angeles Temple (Foursquare) in Glendale, Calif. I had an acute case of bronchitis and was very sick. My parents brought me into the prayer line to be prayed for by Bro. Branham. My mom told me later that Bro. Branham took me in his arms and held me, and prayed for me. I remember him sitting down on a chair from being weak, due to the anointing that he had been under.
At any rate, from that time on, I was completely healed and was never again plagued by that sickness. My dad used to tell me stories that Bro. Branham had shared of different times he had been visited by angels, talking to him and telling him of things he must do. One thing I remember distinctly was when he was told that, “If you can get the people to believe, nothing, not even cancer will stand in your way!”
I remember very distinctly in one service, my parents and I were in the upper balcony and Bro. Branham was down on the platform. He turned his back to the audience and announced that there was a man in the upper balcony that had a specific disease. I don't remember what it was, but he told the man his name and said, “Sir, I don't know you do I? And I've never met you before have I?” Then he commenced to tell the man what was wrong with him. Then he said, “The Lord instructs me to tell you that you are no longer plagued by that sickness!”
Even at that early age, I remember the atmosphere of that place being charged with the anointing of God. You could almost actually see it. I know, later, I saw some photographs that had been taken of him on the platform and an aura surrounded Bro. Branham that you could actually see in the pictures. I for one KNOW that Brother Branham was DEFINITLY sent of God and he DEFINITLY was a prophet of God.
I still have a book that Bro. Branham wrote. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the article that was posted about Brother Branham. He was a very influential icon in my life and a very “Hands On” realization of what God can and will do in someone's life who will totally sell out to Him.
God bless!
