I’d just like to write a little testimony of something that happened with me at work last week. For the last three years, I have tried to get Sundays off work. Three Sundays ago, I was scheduled to work and I had such a conviction on my heart for working on that day because I knew my post of duty was to be at church. So I sent a message to the owner and my supervisor, telling them that would be the last Sunday I worked. I would work for now on with the conviction on my heart.
So the following day which was a Monday, my supervisor called me up and gave me a last written notice, stating that I refused to work on Sundays. So I signed the paper. He asked, “So if I schedule you to work on a Sunday, you won't work?” I said, “No.” He said, “You know, I could just let you go now?” I said, “You could, if that’s what you want to do.” He said, “I’ll let you think about it, because you know you have the next three Sundays off.” After that, I didn't bring it up anymore.
So the other day, my supervisor asked me if the owner had said anything to me. I said, “No.” He said, “Well it's good news. He said the owner came to me and told me, ‘I’m giving Chris every Sunday off because he has been solid with the way He believes and has shown very much improvement since that day.’”
God makes ways where there seems to be no ways. If you stand for God, for what's true, He will stand for you. It's all in His timing.
He's never late, He’s always on time.
God bless you saints.
