Greetings to all the brothers and sisters in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have a testimony I wish to share with you. About ten years ago, when I was about eleven, I received a book from dad telling me the day I read this book it would change my life. I tried to read it but really didn’t understand what I was reading, so I just left it alone for a while.
I'm so glad to read this wonderful testimony. There are children of God that put God first in their life. My heart is burning for this. By reading my Bible, I have understood that when God wants to give victory to His children, He requires to His servant to wake up early.
As I began to get older I went through all the things that most young men experience but I never had forgotten about this book my dad told about. Then one day there came a point in my life where there wasn’t anything going on in my life, I wasn’t in school, no job, and I began to see less of my friends. So I decided that one afternoon as I was lying in my room that I would try reading this book my dad told about. I figured maybe now that I’m a little older I might understand a bit better. So I began reading and came across the passage, “Don’t fear, John. Don’t fear little flock. All that I am, you are heir to. All my power is yours. My omnipotence is yours as I stand in your midst. I have not come to bring fear and failure, but love and courage and ability. All power is given unto me and it is yours to use. You speak the word and I will perform it. That is my covenant and it can never fail.”
That just touched my heart and I believe that’s what drew me into the Lord was His great love for His people. Then from that point on I began to read the Bible and the Message and see God’s Word vindicate itself through REVELATION by the Holy Spirit, and began to see what Brother Branham meant when he mention the stimulation by revelation when you see God’s Word vindicated truth and you know it’s the truth because it’s been revealed to you and it has the same effect on you as wine does on man.
Where in the Scriptures on the day of Pentecost, after they had been filled with the Holy Ghost and when the men heard all the noise some mocked and said, “these men all full new wine.” But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
This same thing began to happen to me and I was glad, but I had a problem I wanted to be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ but didn’t know where to go since most of the churches I knew of baptized in titles. I prayed about many times about this then one day something in me said to ask the people at branham.org, so I did. Shortly after I received an email of a list of churches in my area that said they believed the Message and could baptize according to scripture. I had called a local church in Ohio, and spoke with the pastor. I come to find out our experiences were very similar how he was about my same age and heard the Message, but didn’t about any churches that believed it.
One day he came to the church where he pastors now that believed the Message and talked with the pastor and he’s been there ever since. After our conversation he asked me if I wanted to be baptized right now or later and I said, “Yes let’s do it now!” So I was baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and now have a church home. My dad was right, that book (An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages) did change my life, well outside of the Bible of course.
God bless all the brothers and sisters out there.
Your brother in Christ, Steve
