The Prison Ministry has started strong in 2013. In the first quarter alone, we mailed out over 6,000 sermon books to inmates in about 350 United States prisons. All of these inmates correspond with us via the US Postal Service, which means we receive and send hundreds of letters every week. The following are a few excerpts from those letters from prisoners.
I know that the Holy Spirit lives in the words that Brother Branham spoke. Three Kinds of Believers just struck a chord with me, I know that is the truth, A Prisoner, was just awesome and The Church Ages, I’d like to know if anyone has finished reading that book! I always thought if I get out of here I’m going to start over, but I know now that I have to start over in Christ, now, not later.

I want to thank you for providing these books to us. I say “book” but it is a shame to call these words from Brother Branham books, they are more than mere words written on paper. I believe these are the Word of God. Who else revealed the mysteries of the Bible and brought understanding and salvation to us?

I cannot wait till I leave here. These Messages mean so much to me, and they have helped me through this time, but have left me with an aching in my heart to hear the voice of the prophet. That is why I am looking forward to leaving here, so I can hear the Voice Of God.

I have read many parts of these Messages and it is easy to see the inspiration. The problem for me is the ones that have the books are so protective of them and when they are released they take them all along with them, so there are very few available. So brother send me what you can and I will be sure to share them, but I will also probably take them when I am released.

My desire is that the Lord be blessing you at this time for the service you do in providing the spiritual manna for the people. I am here in this prison serving a 40-month sentence for illegal reentry into the USA. This is after also serving a 4-year sentence in Arizona. I am from Sinaloa Mexico.
When I was in Mexico I attended a message church and was a Christian serving the Lord. Now in prison I would like to know if you can send me some material so that I can continue to feed my soul and tell others about this Message come from God.
I have been struggling in myself as the devil has put many thoughts in my mind that I am no good and that the Lord will not forgive me, but I am trusting in the rich mercies of God. Please pray for me as I need the help of the Lord to overcome.

I am doing a long time in the Federal prison for being illegal (immigrant). I became very sick and was in a coma for three days, during that time I heard a voice telling me to get right, get right, time is short. I remember being so afraid and not knowing what it was about. I finally came out of it and woke up. As I was looking around there was a book on the table by my bed called, Be Certain of God. You can imagine how I felt. I truly believe the voice was from God directing me to this Message for my salvation.

They have an Apostolic church service here and it seemed quite good, till one day something was said about a trinity. After, I asked the minister what he was talking about and he started talking about three persons and very confusing stuff. I told him I don’t understand. He said that was why he was there, to explain it all to us. But I know there is just one God, he said yes but three people. I said I believe there is only One. He said that I sounded like another guy and that guy does not even come to church anymore, went off the deep end, so don’t go there. Well I found this guy and asked him about all this. He shook his head and said it is simple, and handed me a booklet called Godhead Explained. Brothers what is the deal? Why are these men going around telling us all something different than the Bible? Now that’s confusing to me. Otherwise it’s simple, One God, Jesus Christ.

I came to Arizona to work to help my parents and got caught being illegal (immigrant). I was arrested and it all seemed to happen so fast, I was not sure what was going on. I was in the county jail and the guard asked how am I doing. I asked, “Where am I?” He thought I was kidding. I told him it has all been a blur and I am alone and scared. He said, “I’ll be back.” Then he gave me a little booklet and said, “Keep this with you and you’ll be OK, but don’t look at it yet.” They marched me away and I finally opened the book called “Desperations.” I thought, “That’s me,” and felt a warmth come over me. Friends, it’s been 7 years and three transfers. I’m in TX now and soon to be released back to Mexico. I read many of Brother Branham’s Messages since that time and so has my family back home. I still have the Desperations book and still get that warm feeling when I look at it. It’s frayed and worn but the Message it has is just as exciting to me as when he handed it to me. I won’t be back. I came here for money, but I and my family found something more precious than life. Thank you for caring about the desperate ones.

One of the inmates here, I know him for years now, kind of looked like he went off the deep end, you know. He just kind of shouted, just seems strange. I asked him what the problem is, and then he said, “God sent a Prophet.” I don’t understand this but I want to know. It sure sounds good and I know he’s different. He said to ask for Prophet Visits South Africa and Church Ages. Please hurry I’m so excited over this.
