He Loves Us

Our Father loves us. He heals our sickness, gives us shelter, and provides food for our bodies and the Word for our souls. He is always watching over us. There are times when He must look down upon us and smile, like when these little children were praising the Lord with their mother when the Lord fixed their computer.

I just wanted to share a little testimony of how the Lord “healed” my computer. I often get up early to have Quiet Time with the Lord before my kiddos wake up in the morning, and having our computer has been a real blessing. I love to get on VGR and read testimonies that just boost my faith before I start reading and praying, plus I always use the instrumental music on YF during my Quiet Time as well.

A couple of days ago, my son was on the computer and turned the whole thing off while it was running, by accident. I went to turn it back on and all these error messages kept appearing. I kept turning it off and on to try to figure out how to fix it.

Well when I couldn't figure it out, the kids and I then laid hands on it and prayed for it. My son said “Remember how the Lord fixed our radio when we did that?” I said, “Yes I do!” I turned the computer back on but still nothing.

My husband then called a friend of his that works on computers for a living. I explained what had happened, and he said the hard drive had probably been ruined. He said it wouldn’t be very expensive to buy a new one, but I really didn't want to lose everything that was already on our computer. I was so disappointed. I then called one of my friends, and she asked her husband about it. He said that those error messages are the ones that pop up when your computer is going to “blow up.”

I just felt in my heart that it would all work out somehow. My friend told me she would be praying and she texted me, “All things are Possible.” That truly helped me so much. I put a prayer cloth on it that night, and then I just forgot about it for a couple of days.

Well, yesterday when we all got up, my son said, “Mommy, I had a dream that you turned on the computer and it worked!” So I thought, “Well I will go try it.” I turned it on and it still didn't work. I kept praying about it through out the day, and last night I was desperate! I laid hands on it again and prayed for it with all my heart! I then turned it on and pushed a few different buttons (that weren't helping it days before), and it turned on! My son was saying, “Praise God! Praise God!” and my two and four year olds, “Praise the Lord!” And I went to joining them!

I know it was truly NOTHING but my Lord! It is such a comfort knowing He always helps so much, even with the small things! Now my computer is brand new and it should last me many, many years! God bless you all!
