The Storm

They called Hurricane Sandy the “superstorm” as it hammered the northeast coast of the United States, leaving millions without power, flooding vast expanses of coastal areas, causing upwards of $20 billion of damage, and claiming at least 51 lives.

There is a glimmer of brightness amidst the devastation left in the wake of the storm. As the emails and phonecalls trickle in, we have received no reports of extensive damage or injuries among believers. There have been some flooded basements and downed trees, but for the most part, very little damage. There are still quite a few believers without power and we have not been in contact with everyone, but from what we have heard, it’s almost all good news.

We asked the Lord to protect us, now let’s join together and give Him our thanks.
