But always be sure of this: tell them there is no such a thing as Santa Claus, 'cause it's not right. One of these days they'll walk up and say, "What about Jesus then?" See, see, see? So tell them the truth, be honest with everybody. Be truth... And, especially, you wouldn't tell your children something wrong, 'cause they'd raise up and say... They believe in you as a Christian, and they want you to... They believe that what you tell them is the truth. So be sure you tell them the truth, then it'll come out all right.
61-1217 Christianity Versus Idolatry
We all know that Brother Branham made it a point to tell us not to teach our children about the myth called Santa Claus. This time of year we walk out into any public place and see reindeer, elves, Santa, decorated trees, and seemingly everything else but a commemoration of the birth of Christ. The prophet pointed us to Jesus and His Word during the holiday season, and that is where we point our children. Here are two very cute examples of children being raised in the right way. They might be a little confused about this old man with the long beard and red suit, but their minds are on the right thing.
Recently, I was shopping in Hobby Lobby with my two sons. One is 14 months old and the other is a little over 2 1/2 years old.
Of course all the Christmas stuff is out already. We passed by a Santa Claus and I heard my 2 1/2 year old say, "Hi Brother Noah." I've not taught my children about the myth of Santa Claus, so in a 2 1/2 year old's mind, a man with a long white beard has to be Brother Noah or one of the other Bible heroes he has learned about. This child like understanding of the world puts a smile on my face.
God bless you all and thank you for everything you are doing for the Bride of Christ around the world!

We know what Brother Branham taught us about Christmas and Santa Claus, so we try to teach our kids the same. We've got a four-year-old who's never even heard of Santa. We go through the stores and he sees him everywhere. In his little mind, he's got it figured out. That white-haired chubby old man with the hat is "Grandpa." I guess it make since with all those little kids lined up to sit on his lap and ask for gifts.
As far as me and my house, we'll teach him about Jesus and His prophet.
