Voice Of God Recordings is excited to announce that the Agapao Hero Tablet has a new update. This update will allow the user to change the Table app's language settings and choose any of the 62 languages that VGR offers. (This only affects the Table app, not the other apps on the Hero tablet.)
This means if you have an English tablet, you could change the Table app setting over to Spanish, and all of the text in the app would change to Spanish. All of the Spanish sermons available in text format would be available for searching and reading. If you wanted to listen to a Spanish sermon, you would have to download that sermon by pushing the sermon's play button after connecting to WIFI and downloading it.
Here’s how to change language settings:
1. To get this update, connect your Agapao Hero Tablet to Wi-Fi and run the Updates application.
2. Once you have the latest Table update, open the application and select the language dropdown menu located at the top of the sermon document screen.
3. Select More to view the sixty-two languages VGR has to offer.
4. Before a language can be selected, you must turn on the switch located above to “allow the Table app to manage your text updates.” (This means that any future Table text updates will not be downloaded by running the Updates applications. If a Table text update is released and you are connected to Wi-Fi when the Table app is opened, the text update will automatically download through The Table application. VGR typically releases text updates about once a month, so you will want to connect to Wi-Fi and open The Table app to download them.)
5. When finished with your language selection, select Done, and the language text will begin to download.
6. After it is finished downloading, select the language drop down once again, and select Spanish to switch all of the text over to Spanish. All of the Spanish sermons available in text format will now be available to search and read.
Switching the Table app to another language does not delete the audio files installed initially on the Agapao Hero tablet, nor does it automatically add audio files in the language chosen.
To listen to translated audio files in the language chosen:
1. Connect your Agapao Hero Tablet to Wi-Fi.
2. Select the subtitle button on the left side of the audio player, and choose the translated audio option.
3. Then press play, to choose from the download or stream options.
