I was out with my dad working at his hunting camp. It is a large trailer with attached rooms, and underneath the trailer it is pretty dark. I was crawling around under the trailer in the dirt and then back under the attached rooms, when I noticed I had lost my glasses. I hang them from the front of my shirt when I am working up close, as I cannot see up close with them.
I needed the glasses to drive back home. So, I mentioned they were missing to my dad and I crawled back under the trailer and then under the rooms looking for the glasses everywhere I had crawled, I could not find them. I just thought, well, my dad is going to have to drive back home. I just bowed my head under the deck and asked the Lord to help me find them. I looked around for a few more minutes and then went back to work. With all of the construction material, loose dirt, and in the dark, they could have been buried anywhere.
My dad went around looking for them in the trailer and around the sides, and then came back about 5 minutes later and asked me if I had found them. I turned around from where I was working and said, “No.” And as I turned to look at my dad, I saw my glasses lying about two feet from me in the dirt, surrounded by stacks of building material, and I said, “Yes! Here they are!”
It may not mean much to others, but our Lord shows us He loves us in so many ways.
