Witness

20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

Acts 4:20

Jesus' last instructions to His disciples was to make disciples as they went into all the world, and to baptize and teach them, to speak of the things which they had seen and heard. Our testimony may not always be accepted, but we have a promise that this Word will not return void of the effort. We may work our entire lives for just one convert, but we should always remember that a single convert is worth more than all the worldly successes we could accomplish in a thousand lifetimes.

We received this testimony from a brother who works on the open seas, maintaining a cruise ship. He also found great success at another occupation: being about the Father’s business.

I started 2011 sharing the word of God to the crew on board our company vessels (P&O Australia Cruises), and we never looked back ever since.

These believers are from different denominations and different parts of the world that have a hunger to serve the Lord, but most of them are trapped within their church doctrine. So for the past three years, I have shared the Message with them, and at times I felt like just giving up as it seemed there was no effect at all, but I was burdened deep inside my heart to just keep going.

The Lord always proves us wrong, that His word will never come back null and void.

One night after sharing (meetings start at 11pm - midnight due to work commitments) about modest apparel and the Godhead Explained, including the baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I felt deeply led to make an altar call as the atmosphere was different. It was in His Divine Presence, and three crew members stepped forward and gave their hearts to the Lord in tears.

The following week we baptized them, including two teenagers from Vila, Vanuatu. After their mother shared the truth to them, they also yielded and were baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We baptized seven in total on board since 2015, and three of the seven accepted the Message of the hour. I left them with the Message material and they are sharing the Message with the rest of the crew at this very moment.

To God be the glory for the things He has done. Patience is really a virtue.

God bless.
