I was in a supermarket and the checker told me they were requesting some help for a little girl, but she told me she was too sick and she wouldn’t live and that they might use that money for her funeral. My heart was moved and something told me in my heart, “You have something great to help this girl.” I called my pastor to be joined together in prayer, and the whole church would pray for her.
We prayed for this girl the following day in our Sunday service. Then I read a news story that a four-year old girl had rickettsia (bacteria usually transmitted by chiggers, ticks, fleas, and lice), and had died in Hermosillo, but I felt in my heart that it wasn’t the girl we prayed for.

I went out to the supermarket again, trying to find information of her father, wanting to hear that she was alive and not the girl on the news. I finally found a cell number and I called her father. A sister was with me and we talked to him about our faith in the Lord. We asked him if he believed that God would heal his daughter. He accepted our testimony of prayer and the power of faith.
On Tuesday, my pastor and some brothers came together in my house to call this man and pray for the little girl. He went to ICU and he put the cell phone in the girl’s ear while the doctor wasn’t there with her. The doctor had told him minutes before that there wasn’t any hope for her and that she would die that same day because she was in coma. We prayed and claimed for that unconditional covenant for the Royal Seed of Abraham. God answered our prayer!
The little girl’s father, who isn’t a Message believer, testified that while we were praying, the girl opened her eyes! The doctor said that something happened with her because she gained the desire to live. She got well that day, and she was discharged days after. Her parents visited the church with her and we gave her a cake. She radiated with happiness!

We gave thanks for having a God that can rescue a life from the death. He still is Hebrews 13:8.
