Brothers and Sisters,

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our dear brother, Brother Charlie Cox.

Brother Charlie was a true believer of the Message and a cherished friend to God’s prophet, William Marrion Branham. Over the years, Brother Branham often spoke of him with great love and appreciation.

Brother Branham delighted in spending time with Brother Charlie and Sis Nellie, his wife, often finding rest and comfort, in their company. He once said:

“Brother Charlie Cox and Sister Nellie over here, who’s been a second home to me, and nothing but you could be my own children. I go down there, it’s where I spend most of my time of relaxing, is down there. He’s the best squirrel hunter in Kentucky when I’m in Indiana.” - 60-0522M Adoption #3

These words reflect not only the closeness they shared, but also the warmth and hospitality that Brother Charlie and Sister Nellie extended to Brother Branham. Their home was a place of comfort, fellowship, and love, a true reflection of Christian character.

As a minister, Brother Charlie devoted his life to serving the Lord. His life was a testimony of humility, faithfulness, and dedication and he reflected the love of Christ and the sincerity of a true servant.

From all of us here at Voice Of God Recordings, our thoughts and prayers are with the Cox family, their friends, and loved ones. We are holding each of you up in prayer during this time of both sorrow and the blessed assurance, knowing that Brother Charlie has entered into that eternal rest that we all look forward to.

Until we meet again at the feet of our Lord Jesus, may God rest the soul of our dear brother.
