They understand a lot more than we give them credit for. Whether they are babies sitting in our laps, kids just learning how to sound out their words, or a teenager with developed skills, there’s nothing better for our children to read than the Bible.

The following testimony is about a young man who was practicing his reading skills before church.

I would like to share with the Bride of Christ a little testimony about my son Gabriel. Gabriel is starting to read. He studies at home, and his mother, my wife, teaches him. On Sunday, November 10, 2019, before we started streaming the Branham Tabernacle, we were in the church. I am a deacon. So that Gabriel would not be impatient during the prelude time, I gave him my Bible to read. I said, everything you read here is THUS SAITH THE LORD, for it is the Lord Jesus Christ speaking straight to you. After 20 minutes passed, he suddenly looked back to where I was as if startled, and I noticed that he was glorifying God in a low voice.

After the service when we were returning home, he said to me, “Daddy, do you know what I read in the Bible that made me very happy?” I said I didn't know. He went on, “I always listen to Brother Joseph Branham (streaming from the Branham Tabernacle) say about church at home, and I never understood that, but God showed me that in the Bible today, and now I know it's from God.”

I looked at my wife and we both paused, and it took me a while to ask him where in the Bible he read this? He took the Bible and opened it in Philemon 1:2 “And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:”

Oh brothers, joy is for a father to be able to see his children away from the things of this world.
