Greetings in the Blessed Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I would like to report about my recent trip I made to the northern region of Malawi. It was one of the most successful trips.
All the 11 pastors from the region came together for the first time in the history of their ministries; their doctrinal differences have denied them of the much needed brotherly fellowship. Thank God that Voice Of God Recordings managed to break their ices and brought them together under the banner of the End-Time Message preached by God’s servant, our precious Brother William Marrion Branham.
The pastors came together with their deacons and trustees, and gathered as members of one family. The first topic I did introduce was about the Chitumbuka translation work; the need for all the believers in the north to be involved. Furthermore I requested them to submit to our office proper figures for their Chitumbuka requirement.
The atmosphere was very impressive. Each and everyone was happy and eagerly looking forward to a new chapter in as far as working together is concerned. The deliberations were very smooth and cordial; all the pastors present freely expressed their mind. They agreed to start planning for having an independent office where translation work will be housed, and also a room for a library.
The second topic to be introduced was about the VGR building project (construction of a new office in Blantyre). I was just updating them on the current stage of our building and showed them pictures that explained each step of the work.
Finally we all walked outside to officially launch the distribution of Chitumbuka books. It was a wonderful moment. Faces were all bright, and all the pastors came to stand behind their boxes. This marked the beginning of distribution work for our translated Chitumbuka books. Finally the books are now in the hands of the believers in the north, and to them this is most precious treasure, especially the believers in the remote places.
We greatly thank VGR for having accepted Chitumbuka language to be on the translation profile, and for the translations to be printed and distributed to our people in the north. All the pastors present expressed their gratitude for this special gift, which they will always cherish.
