Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I'm Brother Christian, from Philippines, Baliok. I want to share our experiences in the camp that blesses my heart and hope that it will bless you too.
We, by the Grace of God, held a Youth Camp in Buda, Davao City. It really has been a blessing for the youth to be in the event. We had our quiet time, tape services, and an audio sermon of Brother Joseph introducing "A Prisoner." It really set the hearts of our youth on fire from the services.
On the afternoon, we prepared ourselves for the bonfire. Youths were already sitting on their chairs, facing the stacked woods. The cloud had been dark the whole afternoon. We prayed and claimed it won't rain so that the bonfire won't postpone. And it rained.
We waited for the rain to stop. But it didn't. We sang songs in a little shed, and shouted praises to the Lord. We thought it might be the will of God. We continued our service, rain or shine. With the youth, wet and soaked from the rain, still we rejoiced from the depths of our hearts. We praised the Lord.
Even though it's been raining the whole bonfire, the ground muddy, and clothes of the youth wet and soaked, we praised the Lord through the rain.
I want to share a quote from Brother Branham
But remember, the clouds may hide His face, but it don’t hide Him. It can hide the sun from you, but it’s still shining beyond the clouds. And faith sees the sun beyond the cloud.
And here was Moses’ mother in the conflict of testing of her faith. And every child, every son that cometh to God, first must be tried. God tests your faith. Now, look like God could just simply bypass the whole thing and don’t have any—appropriate a way, and just cut the thing off, but it’s better that He gives you a test, and then comes to you when you’re in the test. I like that, don’t you? The greatest experiences of my life, is when I come up against a mountain that I can’t get over it, under it, or around it. And just stand still, and God will move the thing back. And He will move… No matter how dark the cloud is, faith pierces it yonder with a eye that looks beyond anything that the devil can set before you. ’Cause God is our victory. Amen.
